Sample Blog Post: What is your piece doing?

Hi everyone,
Here is my piece I am working on. This is a sketch for a piece I will be making out of fabric and lace.
What is my piece doing?

It is towering, piling, consuming, covering, concealing, crushing, shedding, decorating, cascading, gathering, beautifying, resting, wrapping, folding.

It is also leaning, revealing, exposing. It is like a garbage dump. The body looks crushed and the birds seem to be adding to the excessive pile. The pile is of items that are beautiful things. There is a bow tied around the toe, it is beautifying the body part. It is also like a toe tag meant for a dead person.

*Do Not!*Tell me what the meaning is behind the work!

Look at all of the components of what you have made so far and tell me what your piece is doing. The writing can be all verbs or stream of consciousness writing however you can best describe what your piece is doing.

Also check this out as a reference, Richard Serra's verb list. Serra used these verbs to describe his sculptures.
