Water Vessel
Here are the patterns for the metal part of my goblet. The base and cup part are going to be made of wood, so I don't have anything to show for them right now.
My piece is delicate, bending, curving, curling, encircling, flowing, folding, carrying, holding, straining, groaning, top-heavy, yet strong and balanced. It seems to defy physics and one's sense of structural integrity. It is impossibility, yet reality.
