My piece is grasping, holding, protecting, hiding, sheltering, peeling, exposing, covering, coveting, curling, supporting.

                 The metal is both hiding and exposing the soft wood. It unfurls and offers less protection. 

I'd like to cover this "seed" in a wood shell.

I will show various states of an orange being peeled. 

I was thinking about sewing these dried clementine peels together to make a different "softness" of  a shell. I might fasten them with sheet metal staples.
